Installing and Using the Product
To install the Product on your machine, extract the filesappropriate JAR file from the appropriate ZIP archivecopy the appropriate JAR file to the directory of your choice.
To access anDatabase data storethe Database service using the Product, you need to configure the following:

The Product provides read-write access to Database.com data.
The Product provides read-only access to Database data stores.
The Product provides read-only access to Database data. INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE operations are not supported.
By default, the Product provides read-write access to Database data. To use the connector in read-only mode, set the ReadOnly connection property to 1.
The Product provides read-write access to Database Thrift Server instances. It does not support connections to Shark Server instances.
You can use the Product in a JDBC application or a Java application.
